About

Here at Angolan Women Voice Association UK, we are driven purpose to elevate, encourage and empower Angolan women. The Angolan diaspora in the UK can be found in every single town. Because of our colonial legacy, we connect easily with women from Portuguese speaking nations. It is for this reason that our Association is there to support women and organisations that align in our goal to spread positivity and believe in equality, freedom and empowerment for all people.

We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits. We welcome your presence in and invite you to be part of our Association.

Activities

Bringing Change

Live morning workout

At Angolan Women Voice Association UK, we are dedicated to empowering women and one of the ways is through encouraging our sisters to take charge of their health. Exercise helps with our self esteem, confidence and mental health. In our communities a lot of people either know someone, or have experienced domestic violence. Being in charge of your health gives you the confidence to defend yourself. This is one of several efforts in addressing this issue.
